Community Involvement

At Emerging Solutions, we make every effort to make a positive impact by giving back to our community.  We focus on delivering tangible results through a combination of financial giving and volunteering our time and skills.


Financial Giving 

Emerging Solutions is avid supporter of Children’s Memorial Hospital and has donated significant funds to this extremely important organization. Children’s Memorial is the place where kids come first. The hospital has a 125-year history of providing compassionate care in a family-centered environment, staffing top pediatric specialists, using the latest technologies and offering valuable kid-focused experience.  Their mission is dedicated to the health and well-being of all children.

 

Emerging Solutions has also made donations to The Fairview Foundation in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  This  foundation promotes philanthropy and builds relationships in support of Fairview Hospital’s mission to improve the health of the diverse communities they serve. 

 
 

Volunteering Employee Time

Complementing and augmenting our financial giving, Emerging Solutions encourages initiatives where employees can give their time and skills.

 

Some of the volunteering activities include:

 

Habitat for Humanity.  Emerging Solutions employees participated in Lake County, IL Habitat for Humanity in 2006 and 2007 to help build affordable housing for families in need.  Emerging Solutions is participating again in June 2008.

 

Chase Corporate Challenge. Emerging Solutions is a regular participant in the Chase Corporate Challenge. The Corporate Challenge makes an impact in the community through charitable giving. The JPMorgan Chase Foundation will make a donation for each entry to not-for-profit organizations in each city of the six U.S cities that it takes place. Since 2005, these funds have totaled nearly $1.8 million, earning the Corporate Challenge “Charitable Event of the Year” honors from USA Track & Field.

 

Community Outreach Committee.  Emerging Solutions employees get together to help our community.  This committee does things such as packing lunches, which we donate to the Lincoln Park Community Shelter.
