Inside Sales Associate

We specialize in enterprise business applications, web solutions and business performance management.  We implement, upgrade and integrate innovative custom solutions and packaged applications from leading software companies such as Oracle and Microsoft Corporation. 
 
We are currently interviewing enthusiastic and highly motivated sales candidates to join our business development team in our Chicago office.  
 
Emerging Solutions designs and executes business development campaigns and sponsors events as a means to enhance and grow our client relationship base.  Our sales and marketing process opens new channels of opportunity through innovative, direct contact with our prospects and clients.  The primary focus of this position is to help Emerging Solutions fill our sales pipeline through systematic account research, execution of specific business development campaigns and event follow-up – all focused activities that build and extend relationships.  In addition to pipeline development, the role also includes management and expansion of Emerging Solutions’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.

Additional responsibilities of this role include:

  • Target account research, list cleaning, prospecting, qualification and lead generation
  • Involvement in direct marketing and calling campaigns
  • Appointment setting with qualified decision makers for the Emerging Solutions direct sales force
  • Lead management, control and distribution
  • Campaign development support and database management in support of Emerging Solutions business development campaigns and sponsored events
  • Event registration and trade show support

    The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of three plus years of inside or outside sales experience in the software consulting arena. Candidates need to be  a self-starter who can work independently and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with the sales & marketing team
  • Strong verbal and written communications, telephone and presentation skills. 
     
    We are looking for someone who can understand the complete line of the company’s services and help generate opportunities that well matched well with the solution delivery capabilities of the consulting team.  The ideal candidate will help develop contacts within the company’s Mid-market and Fortune 100 target client community and support the direct sales team in extending and building new customer relationships for the firm.
