Senior Business Development Executive Position

We specialize in enterprise business applications, in the areas of transaction system, enterprise performance management, and business intelligence.  We implement, upgrade, customize, and integrate packaged applications from leading software companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, and Salesforce.com. 
 
We are currently interviewing enthusiastic and highly motivated Sr. Business Development Executives to join our growing team in our both Chicago and Minneapolis offices.  
 
Emerging Solutions designs and executes business development campaigns and sponsors events as a means to enhance and grow our client relationship base.  Our sales and marketing process opens new channels of opportunity through innovative direct contact with our prospects and clients, as well as contact through our software issuer partner companies.  The primary focus of this position is to help Emerging Solutions develop and grow our revenue through previous, existing, and net new customer prospects.  The main responsibilities will be:

• Responsible for revenue generation on select Emerging Solutions lines of business and practice areas at named prospects in a defined territory
• Responsible for building on already established software vendor sales channel, and working collaboratively to drive mutually beneficial software and consulting services opportunities
• Responsible for attending and coordinating local user group activities and local marketing and business development activities

The ideal candidate will have:

•  Preferred 3-5 years experience selling Enterprise Performance Management software and consulting services around budgeting and planning, financial consolidation, and business intelligence. 
•  Specific experience with the Oracle/Hyperion product offering is preferred.
•  Experience with Oracle or Microsoft business applications will be considered a plus.
•  Strong experience in developing sales messaging to fit customer needs, and a strong aptitude for learning new service offerings
•  Candidates need to be a self-starter who can manage and develop a sales territory by combining their own contacts, and the Emerging Solutions contact base.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting via telephone and in person to the executive level within a prospect organization.
•  Candidate must understand complex buying cycles, and how to manage a long term sales process.
