Job Description

We are looking for experienced, energetic, experts for the role of Technical Architect in our Salesforce.com practice.

The Technical Architect is responsible for working with the functional consultants, customer business and technical teams to create unique customer solutions leveraging the full power of the Force.com platform.  This is a customer facing leadership role that will have responsibility for documenting requirements and specifications for custom components and interfaces, designing solutions in accordance to best practices, and leading the combined client/Emerging Solutions technical teams through the build, test and deployment of the solution. 

The Technical Architect will also be responsible for interacting with the sales team to help correctly scope new development work.

The position is based out of our Chicago based Headquarters.  The job will include travel.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise class systems and 3+ years of experience working with the Salesforce.com product.   Work experience should include creating custom user interfaces with VisualForce, developing custom business logic in APEX, writing test classes, and CaDndidates should possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.

• Saleforce.com certified consultant
• Salesforce.com certified advanced administrator
• Salesforce.com certified advanced developer
• Experience with the Salesforce.com APEX data loader
• Experience with the Salesforce.com web services API
• Demonstrated knowledge of XML, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS, and EAI processes
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies

Programming Languages
• APEX
• VisualForce
• Familiarity with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE

Desired Educational Background

Bachelors Degree in IT or Business Degree such as Finance or Accounting
MBA or MIS a plus
